President's Message

As my term as President of the Northeast Ohio Floor Covering Association comes to an end, I am filled with mixed emotions. Each of you knows what an enormous job it is and how much work, but it is one that fills me with great pride as well. This has been an incredibly challenging time for NEOFCA—not just with the issues of our industry that we work on all the time, but with our internal changes and challenges as well. The one thing constant these days is change and so we move forward … with renewed vitality.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Rachael Mullis will assume the position as President of the Northeast Ohio Floor Covering Association. We wish her well.  Also join me in welcoming the newly elected slate of officers for the 2011 administration, Vice President, Ryan Mackey; the position of Secretary/Treasurer will be announced.

Next month will see a new and fresh president’s letter. Let’s all support the incoming president and take part in the activities of our association. We do the work to provide information and activities that help our members improve their operational bottom lines.  Support your floor covering association by donating to our only fundraiser of the year, the NEOFCA Golf Outing. Remember, we have been around since 1989, let’s keep up our good work!

If you renewed your membership for this 2011 calendar year, I would like to personally thank you for your renewal.  We encourage all of you to renew or join now; an application is enclosed for both and/or you may reproduce copies for people you would recommend or encourage to join. In addition, we are soliciting for donations, to be applied directly to the NEOFCA Scholarship Fund. For any donation towards the scholarship fund, you will be listed on our sponsorship site located on our web page.   Any donation given is tax deductible as we are a 501(3) c foundation.  Finally there are many other sponsorship opportunities, so if you just want to give a donation please free to do so. All money goes to the NEOFCA Scholarship Fund.  We need and want your help and participation in any and all ways, so join now and help NEOFCA thrive and enjoy our continued support.
